Juanita S. Hudson

Juanita S. Hudson nee Allison Juanita Allison Hudson, 90, of Akron, Ohio, formerly of Ripley, departed this life into the arms of her Lord and Savior on February 17, 2013. Also waiting to greet her was her husband Wayne (1997) and son Danny (2010). She was born in Putnam County, WV on June 6, 1922 and has been a resident of Akron for many years. Juanita was a homemaker and was very active in her church and any activities of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her passion was making quilts and had made one for every member of her family. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Martha and grandchildren Heather Drayer (Roger) and Charles Hudson Kristi. She also leaves her beloved great-grandchildren Austin and Alex Drayer, Paige, Payten and Cooper Hudson. Also surviving is a sister, Zayola Covert of Charleston and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family wishes to express their deepest love and gratitude to Tridia Hospice and Rockynol Nursing Home for the unending love and care they showered on Mom. Her favorite saying to all of us when we would visit was "Love Everybody", and Mom, we loved you too. A graveside funeral service is set for Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. the Fairplain Cemetery near Ripley with Rev. Gerald Ray officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service.
