Juanita Skeen

Juanita Skeen, 75, of Kenna passed away June 30, 2016 at Jackson General Hospital in Ripley. She was born March 11, 1941 in Mingo County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Frank and Fannie Farley Lilly. She was a homemaker and a Christian by Faith. She is survived by her husband Talmadge Skeen; son Ronald Skeen of Ravenswood; daughters Linda (Robert) Perry of Pickerington, OH, Ashley (Christopher Brown) Skeen of Ravenswood; brother Earl Lee Lilly of Basset, VA; her grandchildren Megan (Steven), Brandon, Cole, Chase, Corbin, Caitlyn, C.J and Mackenzie; great grandchildren Gavin, Kainyn and Kahlia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Timmy Skeen; son-in-law Craig Burchett; daughter-in-law Shawna Skeen, twin grand babies and 8 brothers and sisters. Funeral Service will be 3:00 pm Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Aaron Melhorn officiating. Burial will be in the Casto Cemetery, Kenna. Friends may call from 1 to 3 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to help purchase a monument for Juanita.
