Our beloved mother Juanita (Seasor) Stevens, age 99 of Evans, WV passed away on November 24, 2024. She was born October 16, 1925 at Kayford, WV. She was married for 54 years to her husband Bill before his passing.

Her life changed in 1972 when she gave her life to the Lord. She attended the Ronda Apostolic Church for 42 years before moving to her daughters’ home and attending Ravenswood United Pentecostal Church for the remaining years of her life.

She shared her love of Christ with everyone she met. She was always willing to help with various functions at the church. She was a wonderful Mom, Grandma, and Great-grandma. She was gentle, loving, and caring and will forever be in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill; her son, Keith; father and mother, Charles and Goldie Seasor; her brothers, Terry and Skip; and her sisters, Betty Cox and Ann Canterbury.

Left to survive are her sons, Gary (Connie) from Kokomo, IN, and Brian from Chesapeake, OH; and her daughter, June from Evans, WV.

She had 7 grandchildren, Stacy, David, Michelle, Marissa, Nicole Shane, and Jake; 7 great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Gavin, Karsen, Korbin, Khloe, Jake, and Eli; 1 great-great-grandchild Hadley; and was a special grand Mawmaw to Zoe, Ezra, Skyla, and Jackson; sisters, Shirley(Jim) Hicks, and Gloria Preece of Malden; and a brother Todd (Mary Ann) Seasor of Massillon, OH.

The visitation will be at Waybright Funeral Home in Ripley, WV on November 26th, 2024. Viewing will begin at 11a.m. and the service will begin at 1p.m. Officiating the service is her pastor David Johnston. The final resting place will be at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens in Glasgow, WV. Burial will be at a later date for the family.
