Julia Ann Shamblin Casto Wiggins Julia Ann Shamblin Casto Wiggins, 84 of Washington, WV went home to be with her Lord on Monday, May 23, 2016, at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born October 15, 1931 at Charleston, Kanawha County, WV, the daughter of the late Adam H. and Mary A (Spencer) Shamblin. She is survived by sons;; Denver Casto, Jr., and his wife, Margaret of Lorain, OH, Bobby Casto and his wife Joyce of Parkersburg, WV, William (Joe) Casto and his wife Nannette of Davisville, WV and daughter Teresa Hathaway and husband Terrance of Washington, WV; step-daughter, Louedith Watkins and husband Bruce of Pafafftown, NC; step-sons, Kenneth Wiggins, Marshall Wiggins and his wife, Brenda and Bruce Wiggins and his wife Helen; 12 grandchildren, Barry, John, Bobby, James, Cristy, Brad, Stacy, Stephanie, Donna, Terrance, Katie and Kelly; 16 great grandchildren, Kayla, Trevor, Luke, Cory, Elizabeth, Joshua, Brittany, Jesse, Tyler, Alyssa, Elijah, Caleb, Wyatt, Lacie, Colin and Carly; 40 step-grandchildren, 39 step great grandchildren; brother, Floyd Shamblin of Carrollton, KY; sisters, Dotty Hayes of Cottageville, WV and Delores (Jean) DeBerry of Parkersburg, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denver O. Casto, Sr., son, Leonard D. Casto, and second husband, Harley Wiggins; brothers, Thaddeus, James, William, Roy, Virgil and Orville; sisters, Belva, Gertrude, Mary and Barbara. Julia worked at St. Joseph's Hospital as a housekeeper, Wood County Board of Education as a substitute cook at Leachtown Elementary School, Hills Department Store as a cashier and stockroom ticketer, Ripley Sportswear at Silverton, WV and the Ohio Valley College student lounge snack bar as cook and counter person and a home health caregiver in Ripley, WV. She enjoyed her family and will be sadly missed. She loved cooking for her family, flower gardening and crocheting. Service will be held at Waybright Funeral Home in Ripley on Friday, May 27 at 11 a.m. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, May 26 at the funeral home from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Vaught Chapel Cemetery in Leachtown, WV.
