Karen Elaine Crihfield

Karen Elaine (Casto) Crihfield, 85 of Kenna, went home to be with the Lord on November 5, 2021 at her home following an extended illness. She was born April 12, 1936 in Jackson County, daughter of the late Owens and Sarah Casto. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening but most of all taking care of her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Jesse B. Crihfield, a great grandson, Gavyn Chase McCauley, three infant great grandchildren and four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her children, Janice Gatrell, Sally (Keith) Freshour and Earnest Benjamin (Kathy) Crihfield; sister Janet Royer; sisters-in-law Mildred Casto and Karen Casto; grandchildren, Justin McCauley, Sara (Scott) Seiber, Brandi (Philip) Poff, Brandon (Sidney) Crihfield, Michael Gatrell, Colten Freshour, Forest Dylan Freshour and Ethan Crihfield; also survived by 19 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Monday, November 8, 2021 at the Plainview Church, Stonelick Rd., Kenna with Pastor Don Keefer officiating. Burial will follow in the Fox Farm Cemetery, Kenna.
