Katherine Marie Buchanan

Katherine Marie Buchanan was born July 11, 2014 to Jeffrey and Erin Buchanan of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The family was blessed to spend a little time with Katherine before she went from her parents arms to God's arms later that evening in the Neonatal Unit at Woman's Hospital. Katherine experienced being held by her parents and grandparents, holding hands, and being told "I love you" many, many times. Katherine will hold a place in our hearts forever. In addition to her parents, Katherine is survived by her brother, Jacob; her Grandparents, James and Leah Pitts of Ripley, WV, William Buchanan, and Shelley Buchanan, both of Nashville, TN; her Great-Grandparents, Janice Pitts, Thomas and Janice Stemple, all of Ripley, WV and Sara McCoy, of Nashville, TN; Uncle Tyler and Aunt Jennifer Pitts of Millwood, WV and Uncle Danny and Aunt Jennifer Buchanan of Tucson, AZ; Cousins Owen Pitts, Isabella Pitts, and Liam Buchanan; and numerous extended family members. Great-Grandparents, William Pitts, Ruben McCoy, and Archibald and Kathryn Buchanan preceded Katherine in death. Graveside service will be Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Jackson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Terry Deane officiating. Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley is assisting the family.
