Kathern L. Casto

Kathern L. (Counts) Casto, 87 of Kentuck, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 14, 2023 at her home surrounded by family members, following an extended illness.

Kathern was born July 1, 1935 in Kentuck, daughter of the late John and Ada Haynes Counts. She was a homemaker and member of the Goshen Baptist Church. She loved sewing, shopping and helping anyone in need. Kathern was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed. She loved and trusted her Lord and Savior.

She is survived by a son Charles “David” Casto Kenna; five grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 ½ years, Charles Casto; sons, Alvin M. Casto and Joseph L. Casto; brother Albert Counts; sister, Wilma Miller.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the Goshen Baptist Church, Kentuck with Pastor Alan Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the Goshen Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, March 17, 2023 at the Waybright Funeral Home.
