Kathleen B. Sheets

Kathleen B. Sheets, 84 of Ripley left her earthly home to be in the arms of Jesus on March 5, 2015 at Eldercare of Ripley following a long illness. She was born March 25, 1930 at Statts Mill, WV, a daughter of the late Delia Casto and Clarence Godbey. She leaves behind sons Randy Sheets, Andy (Juanita) Sheets and Ronnie (Betsy) Sheets all of Ripley; daughters Diane Fore of Sissonville and Connie (Jeff) Ellis of Ripley; daughter in law Judy Sheets of Ripley; grandchildren Adeline Sheets and Dino, Jonathon Sheets and Anita, Sue Foster and Ronnie, Leonard Sheets and Robin, Sara Pennington and Wesley, David Lee Sheets, Jr. and Anna, Joseph J.L. Sheets and Ashley, Kurt Hager and Kim, B.J. Hager, Stephanie Berry and Michael, Nina Hager and Dorsel, Tonya Moore and Mike, Hope Goff and John, Dustin Casto, Joshua Middleton, Jonathan and Carson Goff, Julie Casto, Andrew Sheets, Marshall Swisher and Anna and Danielle Fraizer and Jason; brother Parvin Casto along with many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leslie O. Sheets, and sons Michael Sheets and David Sheets and grandchildren Gregory, Christina and Mackey; sister Luda Sheets and brother Andrew Godbey. Kathleen retired from the Big R Super Market and also worked many years for Thomas and Wolfe Meat Market. But, what gave her the most pleasure was her family. She loved to cook and feed them and enjoyed working in her flowers. She always put everyone else ahead of herself. Funeral Service will be 3:00 pm Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Darrell Tackett officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley. Friends may call from 1:00 pm to time of service on Sunday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Dr. John Snyder and his staff for taking very good care of her for many years.
