Lucille Moore

Kathryn Lucille Moore, 89, of Evans, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026, at Thomas Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
She was born on April 15, 1936, to the late Clarence E. Moore and Georgia Bonnett Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carol Moore, and her son, James William Bert Heilmann III.
She is survived by her sons, Charles E. Heilmann (Marlene) and Dennis M. Heilmann (Susie); her grandchildren, Rebecca Westfall, Steven Heilmann, Tara Kerley, Charli E. Heilmann Brier, step-grandson David Bodie, Billie Workman, and Shannon Heilmann; fourteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Clair Moore and Larry Moore, both of Ripley, West Virginia; her daughter-in-law, Debbie Pride Heilmann, widow of James Heilmann III; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Lucille was self-employed for most of her life. She absolutely loved decorating for all the holidays, especially Christmas. She took great pride in her home, her flowers, and in maintaining a beautiful green lawn.
A private service will be held for family members.
She will be deeply missed.
