Kimberly Gandee

Kimberly Rose Gandee, 55, of Cottageville passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Cabell Huntington Hospital

She was born January 7, 1969 at Elkhart, Indiana to Charlotte (Eutsey) Barnette and the late Earl “Sandy”Barnette.

Kim was a 1987 graduate of Ripley High School and worked several jobs through the years and most recently as an LPN. Kim will be remembered as a people person and had many friends because of it. She always supported her children and nieces and nephews in everything they did.

In addition to her mother Charlotte Burseik (Dave), Kim is survived by her husband, John Gandee; son Leo “Luke” Sharp (Charlene); brothers John Barnettte (Cheryl), Chuck Wiese (Angela); sister Susan Gorski (Bryan); sister-in-law Karen Gandee; nieces and nephews, who some referred to her as “Uncle Kimmy”, JJ, Chrissy, Devin, Brandon, Joey, Charlottelynn, Savannah, Gunner, Athena, Zoey, Kaydin, Isabella, Addision, Jaxson, Angel (Ronald) and Brittany (Dillon); great nieces and nephews Ronald, William, Serena, Axel and Phoenix. She is also survived by special friends Leah West (Jo).

In addition to her father Kim was preceded in death by grandparents Charles and Elyria Eutsey and a sister Sandra Barnette.
