Lanny Franklin Fisher

Lanny Franklin Fisher, 84, of Kenna, WV departed this life on September 9, 2023.

Lanny worked at True Temper in Charleston and retired from Big Sandy Furniture in 2004. Lanny was a member of Emma Chapel United Methodist Church in Liberty and the Liberty Lions Club.

Lanny was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Vesta Fisher and sisters Linda McKeny and Patty Summers.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 61 years, Dottie Fisher; brothers Steve (Ann) Fisher of Liberty; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Buster (Ruth Ann) Starcher of Liberty and Roger (Deanna) Burnside of Hometown, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 13th at Emma Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastors Mike Miller and Wayne Hooper officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley and from 12- 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in the Emma Chapel Cemetery.
