Larry W. Johnson

Larry Wayne Johnson, 60 of Ripley passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at home following a short illness. He was born May 7, 1952 at Charleston a son of the late James Aubrey and Ada Kersey Johnson. He was a construction worker and electrician for Kelly Paving and a Farmer. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Debbie Barnette Johnson; sons Jason Johnson of Ripley and Justin Johnson and his wife Amber of Ripley; his granddaughters Hannah, Kaitie and Emma Johnson; a brother Hobert Johnson of Defuniak Springs, FL; sisters Betty Ray of Sissonville, Frankie Shamblin of Ripley, Marble Smith of Advent, June Albright of Shelby, NC Sue Smith and Patty Taylor both of Sissonville. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the Epworth United Methodist Church. Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley is honored to be serving the Johnson family.
