What more fitting obituary, eulogy, epitaph and legacy can any human have than to have it said "She Loved." Laura Mae Fitzwater Pittman born November 15, 1924 and passed away February 9, 2015 "loved more than anything else, with all her heart. She loved the Lord and served all her life" as a member of the Nazarene Church. "She was a sacrificial mother" to her two sons, Gary Dwain Pittman (1946-2009) and David Ryan Pittman (1948-2002), and "honorable wife" to George Ryan Pittman (1924-1999). "She gave all she had and through every trial made life sweeter because of her smile and infectious laughter". Her legacy of love and unswerving faith remains in the hearts of her remaining seven brothers and sisters, Faye, Linda, Caroline, Anna, Lucille, Lloyd and Kenneth from her original 15 brothers and sisters. She is also survived by her daughter-in-laws Shirley Ann Hall Pittman and Sandra Sue Adams Pittman; her six grandchildren Lori Danette Pittman Eshenaur and her husband Dr. Steven Eshenaur, Gregory Dwain Pittman and his wife Kim Pittman, Cindy Pittman Dunlap and her husband Cameron Dunlap, Deanna Gayle Pittman Tilley and her husband Curtis Tilley, Lisa Kathleen Pittman Casdorph and her husband Craig Casdorph and Krystal Dawn Pittman and her 20 great grandchildren. She is now missed on earth but celebrating in Heaven. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Rev. Ollie Parsons officiating. Entombment will follow in the Jackson County Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Friends may call on the family two hours (11 am until 1 pm) prior to the service at the funeral home.
