Leah Anne Kelley

Leah Anne Kelley, 60, of LeRoy, WV passed away on June 20, 2025 after an extended illness.

Leah was born on August 20, 1964 in Charleston, WV; the daughter of the late Thomas W. Kelley and Mary F. Webb.

Leah held a master’s degree from Marshall University and worked as a crisis intervention specialist where she was very passionate about counseling and helping those in need during their most vulnerable times. That nurturing personality carried over into her love for animals; whether it be her pets or the local racoons. She also enjoyed reading, going for walks, and traveling when her health allowed. Leah was fortunate enough to visit the Caribbean, Belize, Spain, Budapest, Italy, Ireland, and even a wine tasting in France to name a few.

She is preceded in death by her parents and survived by her sister Laura Matics(Dave); brothers Karl(Kathy) Kelley and Mike(Deanna) Kelley; nieces Janie Adkins(Johnathan) and Erin Kelley; and nephews Brian Kelley, Daniel Matics, and Shane Kelley.
