A longtime resident of Ripley, Lena was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. She was employed for many years with the West Virginia Department of Highways, where she built lasting friendships and earned the respect of her colleagues.
Lena was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-seven years, Ronald “Ron” Keith Reynolds; her beloved sons, Joe Wesley Casdorph and James “Jimmy” Kenneth Casdorph; her sisters, Yona “Kat” Lanham and Barbara “Bobbie” Wines and her brother, Kenneth “Ken” Layne.

Faith was an important part of Lena’s life. For many years, she attended Walker Church in Charleston with her grandfather. Later, she worshiped at First Advent Christian Church on Randolph Street and Valley Christian Church on Bigley Avenue in Charleston with her two sons. After moving to Ripley, she attended Second Baptist Church and later Grasslick Baptist Church in Kenna, with her late husband.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public service. Burial will be private at Floral Hills Garden of Memories in Sissonville where she will rest beside her oldest son, Joe Wesley Casdorph.
