Linda Sue (Blankenship) Armstrong, 64, of Ripley passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 at WVU Medicine Jackson General Hospital.
Linda was born May 27, 1959 in Charleston, WV a daughter of the late Anthony and Evelyn (Elkins) Blankenship.
Linda will be remembered as a wonderful woman who was an extremely hard worker, an amazing artist, loved to read and always willing to help people. She loved working around her house and could usually be found weedeating, which was her “happy place”. She also enjoyed working on the farm and tending to her chickens. She attended Glenville State College on a full art scholarship. Linda was employed for many years at the Wal-Mart Deli.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Charles Lee Armstrong II and Alicia Voiers (James); siblings Debbie Rhodes, Timothy Blankenship, Lovajean Lang, Elizabeth Mattox and Mark Blankenship. She is also survived by grandchildren Trenton Voiers, Sophia Armstrong, Luca Armstrong and Penelope Armstorng. Linda is also survived by best friend Cindy Hanshaw as well as several work friends.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband Charles “Chuck” Armstrong and an infant brother, Michael Blankenship.
