Linda Faye Mckeny

Linda Faye Fisher Mckeny passed away peacefully at home on March 18th, 2022, following a long illness. Linda was a graduate of Ripley High School class of 1957, she retired from Huntington Banks. Linda loved going to the movies with friends, spent a lot of her time taking care of family and friends. Linda devoted herself to always put others first and to make sure they were taken care of. She enjoyed decorating her house especially for the Holidays. Linda was a bright light wherever she was, always making jokes and making people laugh, she loved to dance and have fun. Preceding her in death were her parents Troy and Vesta Fisher, her sister Patty Summers, her husband Stan Mckeny and her granddaughter Shania Cowley. Surviving are brothers Lanny Fisher (Dottie) from Kenna, Stevie Fisher (Ann) from Liberty, daughters, Tonya Scruggs (Sammy) from Dunbar, Terri Harper (Jeff) from Gandeeville and son Shane Cowley from Charleston, Step sons Mike and Jeff Mckeny; Grandchildren, Kristin Harper, Brent Harper, Justin Cowley, Courtney Johnson; Great Grandchildren, Kiara Barron, Tucker Smith. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday March 26th,2022 at the Emma Chapel United Methodist Church, Liberty WV with Pastor Jerry Bonnett officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the Emma Chapel Cemetery.
