Linda D. Sanford

Linda Deloris Sanford, 92 of Sandyville, went home to be with the Lord on August 12, 2018 following a long illness at Ravenswood Village Nursing Home. She was born April 18, 1926 in Bellwood, WV, a daughter of the late Tony and Leona Simms Sanford. She was also preceded in death by brothers Rev. Melvin Sanford, Rev. Earl Sanford, Rev. Dallas Sanford; sisters Bertha Perdue and Retha Boothe. She is survived by a brother, Russ Merritt of Ravenna, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. Linda was a member of the Meadowdale Baptist Church at Sandyville and she was a devout Christian and servant of the Lord. Linda will be sadly missed by all of her family. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Al Mendez officiating. Burial will be in the Montgomery Memorial Cemetery, London, WV. Friends may call from 11 am until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
