Lois Marie Hill

Lois Marie (Thompson) Hill, 91, of Leroy passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg.

She was born March 18, 1931 at McGraw, WV a daughter of the late Bert and Hazel McPherson Thompson. Lois was a homemaker who had a deep love for her family. When she was able, she attended the Liverpool United Methodist Church.

Lois is survived by her children Steve Hill (Linda), David Hill (Debbie) and Brent Hill (Melissa); brother Clair Dwight Thompson; sisters Doris McCormick, Jean Parrish and Helen Cottrill (Glenn); daughter-in-law Sonya Hill; grandchildren Sandy, Sara, Ryan, Anthony, Michael, Nathan, Kelsey, Corey and Megan. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Clair Hill; a son Brian Hill; grandson Christopher Hill; brothers Charles “Otis”and Carl Thompson and a sisters Joan Gentry and Oma Roberts

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 25th at the Liverpool United Methodist Church, Leroy with Pastor Danny McVey officiating. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley and from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Tuesday.
