Lorena Maye Mitchell

Lorena Maye Mitchell 81 of Leroy passed away January 27, 2013 at her home following a sudden illness. She was born January 14, 1932 at Roane County a daughter of the late George W. and Sylvia Streets burgess. She was a homemaker and worked with mentally challenged children and attended the Little Creek Church. She is survived by a daughter Teresa Worrell and her fianc̩ Tim Maxcy; a son Rodger Mitchell of Mt. Olive; grandchildren Stephen Michael Sarver, Candis Marie Sarver, Rene Michelle Worrell and Cheyann Worrell; great grandchildren Brooklyn Paige Sarver, Trista Sarver and Ashlyn Sarver and a sister Norma Mitchell. Friends may call from 10 am to noon and 4 pm until 6 pm Thursday at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, WV. Private interment at the Streets Cemetery, Leroy will be on Friday.
