Loretta K. Fisher

Loretta Kaye (Rhodes) Fisher, 70, of Cottageville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 24, 2015 after a brief illness. She was born March 22, 1945 at Gay, WV, a daughter of the late Alvin and Tressie Litton Rhodes. She was a graduate of Ripley High School with the class of 1964. She was a lifelong Christian and member of the Mt. Moriah Community Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by daughters Jennifer and Stacy Fisher and nephew Clinton Fisher. She is survived by her husband of 42 years Douglas McArther "Mickey" Fisher; daughter Shelly Marie Fisher of Cottageville; sisters Lillian (Ira) Fisher of Ripley, Nora Cunningham of Parkersburg and Julie (Tim) Gerwig of Cocoa, FL; brothers Norlan (Louise) Rhodes and Gordon (Mary Ann) Rhodes of Ripley and Jeff (Regina) Rhodes of Ootewah, TN. Loretta also leaves behind many friends and loved ones who will miss her dearly. Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Mike Shamblin officiating. Burial will follow in the Fisher-Litton Cemetery, Gay, WV.
