Luda Evalena Sheets Luda Evalena Sheets, 82, of Goldtown, went to be with Jesus Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Today, May 17, is our precious mothers 83rd birthday. What a party she's having! Mom was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Golden Casto; Her husband of 56 years, Gordon; Son, Ron; Grandson, Timmy; Brothers, Burton and Perry Casto; Sisters, Garnet Bishop and Velma Williams. She is survived by: Her Children, Kay Casto (Jessie), of Canton, O, Burna Boggess (Roy), Stella Jeffery, Cathy Lanham (Charley) and Kenny Sheets (Becky), all of Kenna, Steve Sheets (Darlena) of Gallagher and Arnold Sheets (Teresa) of Hamburg, Ark; Daughter-in-law Alice Sheets of Dry Branch, WV; Eighteen grandchildren and spouses, twenty three great-grandchildren and one soon to by great-great-grandson, all of whom she made feel special in their own way. Their love for her was returned with an ever ready mawmaw hug as only she could give. She is also survived by sisters Kathleen Sheets of Ripley and Glenda Parsons of Kenna and brother Parvin Casto of Giles WV; Numerous friends, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family extends a special thanks to gtranddaughter Stacie Slack, a nurse who gave her grandmother and family the best of loving care during mawmaw's illness and final days. A celebration of the life of Luda Sheets will be Saturday, May 18th at 2 p.m. at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Interment will follow the service at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens at Sissonville.
