Lula Mae Taylor

Lula Mae Taylor, 83, of Kenna passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Hubbard Hospice House West in South Charleston.

Lula was born August 21, 1941 at Romance, WV a daughter of the late Claire and Frona (Atkinson) Lanham. Lula had a green thumb and enjoyed planting flowers as well as spending time in her garden.

Lula is survived by daughters Diana Taylor (Okey Cottrill) and Dorothy Mollohan; siblings Bulah Counts, Edward Lanham and Richard Lanham. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents Lula was preceded in death by a son Wayne Taylor; brother, Denver Lanham and her companion of 43 years, Robert “Bobby” Martin.

Funeral service will 2p.m. Thursday, July 31st at Waybright Funeral home with Pastor David Spencer officiating. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.
