Luster Dean Anderson, 72 of Duncan, WV, went to his eternal home on October 30, 2019 following a long illness. He was born May 12, 1947 at Duncan, WV, a son of the late Lester and Dora Gandee Anderson. He was US Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War and retired from the Roane-Jackson Technical Center as the Maintenance Supervisor with 25 years of service. He was a huge WVU fan! He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carolyn Martin Anderson; four children, Sandra Reynolds (Tony) of Spencer, Betty Richardson (Brian) of Ripley, Crystal Milhoan of Spencer and Charley Anderson of Ravenswood; 11 grandchildren, Kehly Molloy (Connor), Alisha Hartley (Zac), Alexander Reynolds, William and Tad Shreve, Brandy and Emily Milhoan, Aidan McDonald, Justin, Dillon and Isaiah Anderson; five great grandchildren, Silas and Quinten Molloy, Addyson and Mahaleigh Hartley and Dixie Shreve; brothers, Johnie Anderson and Keith Anderson and sister Elaine Reed. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Veldra, Leo, Burton and Delbert Anderson, sister Martha Parsons, and a granddaughter Mila. Funeral Service will be 11 AM on Monday, November 4, 2019 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Seldon Angus officiating. Burial with Military Rites provided by the Jackson County Honor Guard will be in the Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville, WV. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
