Mac Moffatt

Theodore “Mac” Moffatt, 76 of Kenna, passed away October 17, 2018 at Charleston Memorial Hospital following a long illness. He was born March 10, 1942 in Roane County, a son of the late Giles and Leona Carpenter Moffatt. He was an Army Veteran and was a Mail Carrier for 22 years. Mac was a member of the Wolfe Valley Church and loved to fish and hunt. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Parsons Moffatt; sons Tommy and Teddy (Melissa) Moffatt; daughters Corrina (Calvin) Marks and Pamela (Lonnie) Bryant; Joe Ashby whom was like a son to him; brothers James, Roger and Rodney Moffatt; sisters Betty Harper and Vivian Duncan; 12 grandchildren including Faith King whom he helped raise and one great grandson, Tyson Nichols. Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Danny Beckner officiating. Burial will be in the Jordan Cemetery, Advent.
