Magdalene L. Spencer

Magdalene Lessie Spencer, 82 passed away December 14, 2013 in Charleston following a long illness. She was born August 12, 1931 at Jackson County a daughter of the late Oscar and Bessie Marion Shamblin. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Romie Spencer, a son Doyle Spencer and a daughter Carolyn Casto. She is survived by her daughters Elana Comer of Kenna, Barbara Duff of Charleston and Rosalee White of Kenna; sons David Spencer of Kenna and Lonnie Spencer of Clendenin; She had 15 siblings but only two survive her, Mamie Kenny and Gladys Gibson Both of Kenna. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be 1 pm Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor David Spencer officiating. Burial will be in the Spencer Cemetery, Kenna.
