Mamie E. Kenney

Mamie Ethel (Shamblin-Fisher) Kenney, 90 of Kenna, passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at home following a long illness. She was born September 10, 1928 in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Bessie Marion Shamblin. She was a waitress at the Corner Restaurant in Charleston for many years. She is survived by sons, Billy Stanley Fisher of Florida and Wayne Fisher of Kenna; daughters Diane Burdette of Charleston, Charlotte Ashby of Cross Lanes, Theressa James of Elkview, Sandra Barr of Charleston and Kimberly Compton of Kenna. Also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Fisher, second husband William Kenney and a daughter, Aileen Fiber. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Josh Fisher officiating.
