Marcella Ann Cooper

Marcella Ann (Robinson) Cooper, 82 of Sandyville, passed away peacefully April 13, 2017 at her home following a long illness. She was born February 25, 1935 in Jackson County, the daughter of the late Richard and Wilma Nell Burchett Robinson. She was a homemaker and a Christian, worked several years at Ralph’s Supermarket in Parkersburg and owned and operated M and B Grocery. She is survived by her four sons, Arnold and Bamba Cooper of Sandyville, Roger and Sue Cooper of Sandyville, Robert and Dolly Cooper of Sandyville and Ronald and Lisa Cooper of Sandyville; four daughters Sharon Cooper Griffith of Cottageville, Connie Lasley of Owensville, IN, Juanita Cooper of Ravenswood and Diane Cooper Boone of Cottageville. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Waldron A. “Barney” Cooper and a brother, Donald Eugene “Gene” Robinson. Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Monday, April 17, 2017 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Lawrence Conger Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Drift Run Cemetery, Sandyville. Friends may call from 11:00 am until time of service (2:00 pm) Monday at the funeral home. A dinner will follow the committal service at the cemetery at the Lockhart United Methodist Church in Sandyville.
