Margaret Ann Winter Nelson

Margaret Ann Winter Nelson, 79 of Given passed away September 19, 2012 at Hubbard Hospice House. She was born August 16, 1933 at Fairplain a daughter of the late Emory and Lillie Simmons Winter. She was a member of the graduating class of 1948 at Ripley High School where she was crowned Miss Viking 1948. She retired from Mountaineer Gas as a Head Receptionist. She is survived by her husband Kenneth F. Nelson and her companion their dog Ginger. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Kathleen Street and brother in law Ron Street. Funeral Service will be 4 pm Friday, September 21, 2012 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Jimmie Compton officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Given. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
