Mary E. Dunn

Mary Elizabeth Dunn, 61 of Leon, went to be with the Lord on September 4, 2020 following an extended illness. She was born June 24, 1959 in Parkersburg, daughter of Paul and Norita McCullough Richards. Mary was a graduate of Ripley High School Class of 1977 and a member of the West Ripley Church of Christ where she served as a Bible Class Teacher. She was a Team Leader at KS Stamping Plant in Ravenswood and prior to that worked in the Deli at the Ravenswood Foodland. She will be remembered as always being uplifting and upbeat no matter the situation especially during her illness. Mary enjoyed quilting, creating beautiful decorated cakes and in her family was known as the “Sugar Cookie Queen.” In addition to her parents Paul and Norita Richards, she is survived by sons Jeremiah Allen Roush, Joshua Paul Roush and Aaron Dunn; her siblings, Cathy Lynne Westfall (Bob), Teresa Renee Anderson (Bill), Tina Marie White (Jim) and Timothy Paul Richards; grandchildren Gage and Makyah Roush, Hayden, Eli and Sophia Roush; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews including Andrea Cummings whom currently resided with Mary. She was preceded in death by a step son, Justin Dunn. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Burial will follow in the Letart Evergreen Cemetery, Letart, WV. Friends may call from 11:00 am until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
