Mary Marie Fields

Mary Marie (Lupardus) Fields, 66 of Sissonville, passed away suddenly on October 14, 2023 at Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston.

Marie was born December 2, 1956 in Ripley, daughter of the late Charles and Maryland Miller Lupardus. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Fields, Brady Haynes, her soulmate for 44 years and father of her children, her sister Eloise Greathouse, nephew, Wesley Coffee and her fur baby, Precious.

Marie loved yard sales and thrift stores and enjoyed crafting in her spare time. She didn’t know a stranger and had one of the biggest hearts of anyone. If you knew her, she probably didn’t call you by your name but by “Honey.” She was loved by many.

She is survived by her son, Brady Haynes and daughter, Brandy Haynes both of Sissonville; brothers Tommy Lupardus and his wife and Richard Lupardus; her grandbabies who were her absolute world, Liam, Lacy, Kayden, Diamond, Alayna, Linzy and Chance and her honorary sister and best friend, Barb Burdette of Sissonville.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Sissonville Family Health and the ICU Department at Thomas Memorial Hospital.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, October 20, 2023 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Elmer Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Aplin Cemetery, Gay, WV. Friends may call from 12:00 pm until the time of service at the Funeral Home.
