Mary Lewis

Mary Katherine Lewis, 58, of Ripley, passed away September 12 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown following an extended illness. She was born October 26, 1954 at Kentuck, Jackson County, daughter of Paul and Mary Wolfe Southerly, currently of Paden City. Mary was employed by the U.S. Postal Service, was a homemaker and a member of the River Ridge Church in Charleston. Surviving: Her husband of 28 years, Jeffrey Lewis of Ripley; Son, Patrick Lewis of Ripley; Daughter, Patti Housley (Chuck) of Charleston; Grandchildren, Karina Housley and Alexis, Hayley and Faith Lewis; Two brothers and two sisters; Numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Mary was preceded in death by her father and one brother. A celebration of Mary's life will be Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Entombment will follow the service at Jackson Memory Gardens, Cottageville.
