Mary Frances Snyder

Mary Frances (Tolley) Snyder, 90 of Sandyville, passed away April 25, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born December 31, 1928 in Gay, WV, a daughter of the late Estel and Ada Rhodes Tolley. She was a 1946 graduate of Ripley High School and along with her husband, Carl, owned and operated the New Era Store. She was a 70 year member of the Ripley Tabernacle Baptist Church and enjoyed going to the Sandyville Senior Citizens Center and playing Domino’s with her friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Carl Ray Snyder; sister Dortha Lee Angus and brother John Fredrick Tolley. She is survived by her sons, Tony (Bev) Snyder of Ravenswood, Ron (Pat) Snyder of Sandyville and Tim (Steph) Snyder of Sandyville; daughters, Chris (Russ) Fulk of Sandyville and Cathy (Joe) Pitts of Ripley; grandchildren Cindy (Tom) Wilson, Steph (Butch) Murphy, Terry Snyder, Craig (Jodie) Snyder, Carla (Denny) Pottmeyer, Chad (Ruthie) Snyder, Lindsey Snyder Southall, Jonathan (Misty) Snyder, Nicki (Jamie) Shinn, Ryan (Whitney) Fulk, Jessica (Matt) Walton, Julia (Jake) Gump and Joel (Beth) Pitts; also survived by 17 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren: brother William “Zeke” (Margaret) Tolley of Ripley and sister Joyce (Bill) Williams of Palm Bay, FL. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Monday, April 29, 2019 at the Ripley Tabernacle Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Keffer and Ed Austin officiating. Burial will be in the Independence Cemetery, Sandyville. Friends may call from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm Sunday, April 28, 2019 at the Ripley Tabernacle Baptist Church and one hour prior to the service at the Church on Monday.
