Matthew James Jones

Matthew James Jones, 41, of Ripley passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021. He was born October 22, 1979 in Ripley a son of the late Keith and Mary Casdorph Jones. He was employed by G&G Construction Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding 4-wheelers and being on the farm. He loved spending time with his daughter, who he was extremely proud of. He is survived by his daughter, Haley Reanne Jones (Colton) Painter of Liberty, two grandchildren Weston Colt Painter and Journee Rena Painter; three sisters Shellene Jones of Sandyville, Teresa Webb of North Carolina and Molly Jones of Parkersburg; two brothers Nathan Jones (Tina) of Cottageville and Brian Jones of Ohio. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m Wednesday, March 31st at Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville. There will be a time of visitation from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. at which time the procession will leave for the cemetery.
