Melissa Dawn Pauley

Melissa Dawn (Stephenson) Pauley, 41 of Ripley passed away November 30, 2017 following a sudden illness. She was born March 30, 1976 at Ripley, daughter of Janice Nuzum Stephenson of Ravenswood and the late Wayne Stephenson. She was a graduate of Ravenswood High School with the Class of 1994 and went on to become a CNA and worked at Ravenswood Village Nursing Home and Eldercare of Ripley. Her greatest joy was her three sons and spending time with her family. She enjoyed riding horses, fishing, going for drives with her family and watching movies. In addition to her mother she is survived by her sons, Matthew Smith (Georgie), Morgan Smith (Brooklyn) and Mason Smith (Kimber); grandson Kyler Smith; brothers David Stephenson and Randall Stephenson; sister Debbie Wilson and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Stephenson. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the Waybright Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Ravenswood Cemetery, Ravenswood. Friends may call on the family on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
