Meretha Estella White

Meretha Estella White, 73, of Kenna passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 27, 2018. She was born February 8, 1945 to the late Ed and Goldie Holley Harper of Sissonville, WV. Meretha was a homemaker and a devoted Christian. She loved to cook and had worked at the Deli at both B&B of Sissonville and Kroger of Ripley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Sue White and eighteen siblings. Meretha is survived by her husband of 55 years, Harold William White; daughter Sharon (Eric), son Gary (Jo Anna); brothers Deanea Harper, Roger Harper and sister Lorraine Smith. Grandchildren Pacey and Colt Messer, Benjamin (Kenzi) White and Jonathan White. Funeral service will be Monday, October 1st at 11 a.m. at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Elmer Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico.
