Meritta Ann Blankenship

Meritta Ann Blankenship, 72 of Sandyville, passed away November 10, 2022 at her home following a short illness.

She was born October 10, 1950 in Charleston, daughter of the late Vernon Schaley and Hester Darrell Payne Robinson. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ray Blankenship Sr.; son, Thomas Ray Blankenship, Jr.; and granddaughter, Lora Beth Frontz. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family as all of her siblings preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Frontz and her husband Gary; granddaughters, Krissa and Mickee Frontz; three great-grandchildren, Novaleigh, Liam and Delilah.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, November 18, 2022 in the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar. A time of visitation with the family will be 11:00 am until 12:00 pm Friday November 18, 2022 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. A procession to the cemetery will leave at 12:15 pm from the funeral home.
