Michael Paul Boner

Michael Paul Boner, 43 of Kenna, passed away March 25, 2023 from injuries received in an accident.

He was born September 1, 1979 in Charleston, son of Paul Edward Boner and Ronda Sue Lemley Sites. Michael was a 1998 graduate of Ripley High School and was employed at Constellium Aluminum Products. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, riding and working on ATV’s and mechanic work. He never met a stranger and always enjoyed a conversation with anyone. His greatest joy was spending time with family especially supporting his children.

He is survived by his children, Brett Michael Stephen Boner, Nathan Bradley Paul Boner and Taylor Elizabeth Lea Boner; his parents, Paul Edward Boner and Ronda Sue (Rodney Leo Sr.) Sites; siblings Leigh Ann (Brandon) Thompson, Rodney Leo “R.J.” (Callie) Sites Jr. and Lori Lea (Joey) Hayes; aunt whom was like a mother to him, Mary Ann (Teddy) Garnes grandparents Nora Edna Boner and Dorothy Helen Anderson; Step grandparents, Roger and Sylvia Sites; mother of his children, Amber Denise Dorsey; cousins who were like siblings, Casey Looney, Carrie Eagle, Steve Dillard and Mike Davis; Uncles, Ray Boner, Timothy Boner, Camden “Bud” (G.J.) Anderson and Tommy Sites; aunts Joyce Cavender, Mona Bennett; nieces and nephews Julie Thompson, Blake Thompson, J.D. Thompson, Emily Hayes, Adam Hayes and Luke Hayes. Mike is also survived by several cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers Early Boner and Hank Lemley; uncles Denny Boner and James Boner and step-mother Brenda Strickland.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, March 30, 2023 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor Todd King officiating. Burial will follow in the Casto Cemetery, Spencer Road, Ripley. Friends may call on the family from 11:00 am until the time of service on Thursday at the Funeral Home.
