Michael D. Pauley

Michael D. Pauley 68 of Ravenswood, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born April 22, 1956 in Charleston, son of the late James “Jimmy” and Pearl Pauley. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel and Danny Pauley. He worked as a Coal Miner and loved to work on cars. He never met a stranger.

He is survived by his children, Anthony Pauley of Peytona, WV and Tonia (Dallas) Borders of Dunbar; grandchildren Tyler and Zach “Zookie” Battenhausen whom he loved dearly; brother Ray (Junie) Pauley of Cottageville; sisters, Diana (Randel) Casto of Ripley and Sherry Bailey of Ravenswood.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, July 29, 2024 at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor Mark Price officiating. Burial will be in the Pauley Family Cemetery, Andrew, Boone County. Friends may call from 12:00 pm until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
