Michael Brian Gibson

Michael Brian Gibson, 64 of Parkersburg, passed away September 12, 2023 at The Arbors of Pomeroy following an extended illness.

He was born May 6, 1959 in Ronceverte, WV, son of the late Earl and Jeanette Faye Perry Gibson. He was a construction worker by trade and loved all animals, especially dogs. He also enjoyed traveling and singing gospel music.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara Ann Singleton of Ripley; brother William Gibson of Citrus Heights, CA; nieces, Tonya Hoskins of Apopka, FL, Jenny Counts of Ripley, Diana Haynes of Ripley and Barbara James Singleton of Newport Richey, FL; nephews Gary Paul Hoskins of Millwood, Toby Dean Hoskins of Spencer and five great nephews and two great nieces.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Bruce, Barry and Butch Gibson; sister, Diana Lynn Gibson and grandparents, Woody and Opal Perry and Etta Starcher.

In honoring his wishes, he will be cremated and no public service.
