Mike Kiser

Michael James Kiser, 56 of Kentuck passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Charleston Memorial Hospital following a sudden diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Mike was born on May 8, 1959 in Ripley, West Virginia, a son of James "Bubby" and Phyllis Skeen Kiser. He graduated from Ripley High School with the class of 1977. Mike was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #132 and employed with Highway Paving. He was a Christian. He also enjoyed riding his fourwheeler around the farm where his donkeys and horses were. He was preceded in death by grandparents Vairl and Geneive Skeen and Hoyt and Mable Kiser. Along with his parents those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 38 years Betty Lou White Kiser; son James Michael Kiser and his wife Crystal; grandchildren Draven Michael Kiser and Breanna Brooke Kiser; sisters Debbie Good and her husband Billy and Missy Lynch and her husband Jim. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousin that he loved dearly. Funeral service will be held Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Waybright Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Parsons officiating. Burial will be in the Goshen Cemetery at Kentuck.
