Mildred Anna Pauley, 89, of Dunbar, formerly of Ripley passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Cedar Ridge Center, Sissonville following an extended illness. She was born January 1, 1927 at Lincoln County, WV, a daughter of the late Charlie and Hermie Stone King. She was an original member of the Jackson General Hospital Auxiliary and was a member of the West Ripley Church of Christ. She is survived by daughter Linda Santrock (Don) of Dunbar; Brother Dempsey King (Betty) of Port St. Lucy, FL and Larry King (Patty) of Garretts Bend, WV; sister Wanda Bledsoe (Lester) of Asheville, NC; granddaughter Shelley Sheedy (Chuck) of Dunbar and great-grandchildren Austin Santrock of Dunbar, Chelsea Poe of Dunbar, and Abbigail Poe of Dunbar.�� In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, James H. Pauley and sisters Betty Pauley, Juanita Mays, and Evelyn Hundley.�� Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2016 at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Minister Donnie Chapman officiating. Friends may call on the family from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville.
