Mona Lisa Fields

Mona Lisa (McClain) Fields, 60, of Silverton, WV went to be with the lord Monday, April 1, 2024. She is the daughter of Ruby Ilene Shamblin and Orin Preston McClain. Mona was a 1981 Ripley High School graduate and worked as a nurse for many years. She was one of the kindest, sweetest, people you have ever met. She always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed taking care of her flowers, spending time with loved ones, and loved turtles and frogs.

She is survived by her daughter Melissa Ann Fields of Cottageville, Spouse Roy David Danko; brothers Wyatt McClain (Tina), Bart McClain (Betsy), James McClain (Kelleyn), and half-sister Gudren. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews, grandchildren; George, David, Joy, Henry, Bentley and Eddie, James and Lilly. They were her pride and joy.

She is preceded in death by her father Orin Preston McClain, stepmother Marianne McClain, brothers Morgan McClain and Marlin McClain, Grandson Adrian Ames Cooke, and half sister Marita.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 5th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.
