Monnie V. Mahood

Monnie Victoria Mahood, 92 of Statts Mill passed away at her home on February 24, 2015. She was born November 10, 1922 in Jackson County, daughter of the late Virgil and Jennetta Price Fields. She was a Homemaker. She is survived by sons Lewis E. Mahood of Spencer, Delmer L. Mahood of Ripley, Jerry K. Mahood of Ripley, William J. Mahood of Virginia, Steven L. Mahood of Mt. Olive; daughters Joyce Burgess of Cottageville and Carol S. Poe of Ripley; brothers Gay Fields of Cottageville, Basil Fields of Ripley and Charles Fields of Ripley. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lewis G. Mahood, daughter Vonnie Harper; brothers Ray Fields, Roy Fields and Sherman Fields and sisters Dorothy Canter and Louisa Price. Funeral Service will be 1 pm Friday, February 27, 2015 at the Shatto Tabernacle Church, Ripley wih Pastor David Fields officiating. Burial will be in the Woodfell Cemetery, Statts Mill.
