Myrtle L. Casto

Myrtle L. Casto, age 95, of Geneva, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Delnor Hospital. She was born December 5, 1926, in Ripley, West Virginia, the daughter of James and Oshel (Casto) Whited. Myrtle enjoyed being a homemaker. She loved gardening, sewing, crafting, and cooking. Church and family were always the most important things in her life. She is survived by her daughter Deb (Peter) Scheiner of Geneva; grandchildren Bandon (fiancée Peggy Keiner) of Chicago, Derek (Rufina) Scheiner of Aurora, Erin (fiancé Robbi McCauley) of London, and Kristen (Thomas) Hawrysz of Chicago; great grandchildren Sophia, Liam, and Marianna; sister Anna Randolph of Ripley, West Virginia; and many other dear relatives and friends. Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents; siblings Delbert, Ruby Rardon, Ruth McCallister, Herbert, Mary Hunter, Goldie Starcher, and Dane; and her loving husband Darrell who passed away in 1998. Visitation for Myrtle will be held Monday, February 21, 2022, from 9:00 am until the time of her funeral service at 11:00 am at Waybright Funeral Home, 511 Church Street S, Ripley, West Virginia.
