Naomi Marie Lockhart

Naomi Marie Lockhart, 69, of Kenna passed away Monday, May 15, 2023 at Jackson General Hospital following an extended illness.

Naomi was born September 25, 1953 in Newton, WV a daughter of the late Monroe and Ocie Bell Freeland Murphy. Naomi loved going to church and attended at the Stonelick Church. She enjoyed going to horse shows and to Disney World. Naomi also enjoyed Mickey Mouse, doing word searches, playing cards, watching game shows, taking pictures and enjoying a good meal with friends and family. Naomi will be remembered for the love she showed to everyone, just like God does.

Naomi is survived by her children Doug Wayne Lockhart and Ocie Bell Lockhart; brother Lee Roy Murphy (Loretta); sisters Sue Edwards, Linda Ellison, Ellen Kessell (Boyd) and Bell White Carl. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Naomi was preceded in death by her ex-husband Kelly Lockhart, a brother, Harry Murphy and brothers-in-law Carl Ellison and Harrison Edwards

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 21st at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
