Neda Beane

Neda Gay (Whittington) Beane, 85, of Sissonville went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at CAMC General Hospital.

Neda was born February 11, 1939 at Charleston, WV a daughter of the late Hershel and Olive Whittington. She was a graduate of Sissonvillle High School and went on to be employed at Tincher Dental Labs where she would retire after many years of service. Neda loved to serve her Lord and was a member of the Elizabeth Baptist Church. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Neda is survived by her son John Beane II; sisters Geneva Fisher and Charlotte Wickline and a grandson John Beane III. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

In addition to her parents Neda was preceded in death by her husband John Beane; a son, Tony Beane and brothers Ronald and Thomas Whittington as well as several aunts and uncles and extended family.

In honoring Neda’s wishes she will be cremated. A joint memorial service to celebrate the lives of Neda, John and Tony will be held at the Sissonville Community Church at a later date. Online memories and condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.waybrightfuneralhome.com
