Nina Roush

Our most dear Nina Gay (Siders) Roush 47, of Dunbar, left this world September 5, 2022.

Nina was born on September 13, 1974 unto Ola W. Siders and Reba Ruthlee (Shamblin) Siders and was the youngest of five children. Nina was a graduate of Ripley High School where she was a proud member of the FFA and also obtained a license as an LPN. After graduation, she pursued her career as a nurse. In 2001, Nina suffered from a stroke, which cut her career short as a nurse. This gave her time to practice her true passion, being a parent. She loved being the #1 fan to her two boys, and was referred to many times as the loudest mom in the bleachers. Nina also loved to laugh, tell jokes and stories, and to make people smile.

Nina left this world behind with two children, Fredrick R. Roush 25, of Morgantown, and Alex R. Roush, 22 of Cottageville. Also surviving are her four siblings, Reba Jones, David Siders, Wanda Atkinson, and Thaniel Siders, as well as many nieces and nephews. Nina was predeceased by her two wonderful parents, and her much missed sister, Conda.

A visitation will be held at Waybright Funeral home on Thursday, September 15th from 6-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, you can also make donations to the Ripley FFA. Also, a small time-capsule will be created in her honor, in which guests will be allowed to leave a small note/ item that will be put into the time capsule.
