Nora Edna Boner

Nora Edna Boner, 85, of Kenna passed away Monday, April 15, 2024 at Jackson General Hospital.

She was born December 26, 1938 in Kanawha County a daughter of the late Okel and Zadie (Pauley) Burgess. Nora was a very devoted and loving mother who will be remembered for all the care she showed to not only her children but her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she loved dearly.

Nora is survived by her children Joyce Cavender (James), Paul Boner, Earl Boner (Debbie Williamson) and Timothy Boner (Mary Rollins-Kucharcyzk); brothers Roger Burgess and Gordon Burgess (Linda); sisters Brenda Stump (Randy), Connie Jordan (Tom) and Elizabeth “Libby” Barnette (Bill); grandchildren Leighann Thompson, Lori Hayes, Miranda Thomas, Adrianna, Bryson, Isabella, Gracie, Conner, Sarah and Tyree Williamson, Michael Davis, Steven Dillard, Steven and Sydney Rollins; great-grandchildren Julie, Blake, JD, Brett, Nathan, Taylor, Emily, Adam, Luke, Aubrey and Autumn and great-great-grandchildren Greylyn, Ryatt and Karsyn.

In addition to her parents, Nora was preceded in death by her husband, Early Boner; sons Danny and James Boner and grandson, Michael Paul Boner.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 19th at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Pastor Andrew Sharp officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.
