Norleta O. Cunningham

Norleta Ozella Rhodes Cunningham, 72 of Parkersburg, passed away February 26, 2023 at home following a short illness.

She was born February 26, 1951 in Ripley, daughter of the late Alvin and Tressie Rhodes. She was a member of the Ripley High School Class of 1969. She worked in retail sales as a Cashier having worked at McDonalds and Ponderosa in Ripley and the B and B Market. Nora also worked as a seamstress for the Kelwood Sewing Factory for many years.

She is survived by her ex-husbands, Jimmy Fisher, Bruce Cunningham and partner, Chester Randolph; sons Timmy and Trevor Fisher and Patrick Randolph and one granddaughter; also survived by sisters Lillian Fisher of Ripley and Julie (Tim) Gerwig of Florida; brothers Jeff Rhodes of Tennessee and Gordon (Mary Ann) Rhodes of Ripley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a close friend, Richard Williams.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Fisher and brother Norlan Rhodes.

Funeral Service will be 6:00 pm Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Mike Shamblin officiating. A time of visitation with the family will be from 5:00 pm until the time of service on Saturday at the Funeral Home.
